Kidz Need Dadz Taranaki was established in 2016 to strengthen families by supporting and educating Dads on the importance of being involved in their children’s lives.

Although we recognise mothers are very important, studies have shown that children do better when they have a supportive caring father in their lives also. Whether they live under the same roof or in different homes children need two parents.

 Taranaki currently offers these services:

 

DadzKare:

DadzKare support meetings are held every Tuesday Evening at 7.30pm. This group is for anyone needing support or information to work their way through separation and the court process . It is Facilitated by one of our volunteers and is a safe and supportive environment for men to discuss their feelings and gather information.
