NEW APPOINTMENT FOR NEW ZEALAND ORGANISATION SUPPORTING FATHERS
Shayne Jeffares from Hawke’s Bay has been appointed CEO of Kidz Need Dadz Charitable Trust New Zealand.
The position is a new role within the Not for profit organisation as it looks to expand and further deliver its support for Fathers and Families across the country. Board Chairperson Sheila Ewart says that the appointment of
Mr Jeffares comes after much input and discussion .
“We realise how pivotal it is that a high level of support is made available when Families are experiencing change through many different circumstances. To be able to support those Fathers’ who understand the importance of their relationship their children have with them is rewarding.
”Ensuring the wellbeing of each child is of the utmost significance to the support we offer, the statistics for children without a Father or positive male role model in their lives can be daunting”
Mr Jeffares brings both business skills and experience from within the Not for profit sector to the role.
“ It is an extremely exciting time for the Board as we look forward as an organisation”.
With a number of strategies to get underway Shayne says he is looking forward to working alongside the four established regional office of Kidz Need Dadz and creating a team unit.
“ Each region has so much knowledge to share, as a team we can achieve so much now with a National office and Management structure in place. A focus on establishing further regional offices is also an exciting time.
“ We know having regional support available means we can network and build relationships in each community quickly”. “By doing this we know that we can make a positive difference to those families that are looking for support that is distinctive to our organisation “
