Below are our Regional events celebrating Fathers Day. We ran a successful Fathers Day Photo Competition also, with support from Bunnings. More than 300 images were uploaded to our Facebook Page with one image winning the prize. You can see some of the entries on our Facebook Page and read how each region celebrated Fathers Day in their communities. 

Wellington Kidz Need Dadz

“Take Dad Bowling for Fathers’ Day”

The main goal of the event is to encourage families to share together and have fun.  Families of whatever description are welcome to enjoy intergenerational activity.  From 4-6pm the bowling and mini-putt golf will be free for families wanting to share time together.  Food and refreshments will be available but at normal Kapiti Ten Pin pricing.

At the event we will also be offering free copies of our new publication The Blokes Book which provides health and social service information.  To support the health theme of the Blokes Book we will have some doctors and nurses from local practices offering free health checks and advice at the event.  Also present will be the mens’ mental health charity, Whirlwind.

Hawkes Bay Kidz Need Dadz

In conjunction with Bunnings Fathers Day Event.

This is going to be so much fun...Grab the family and come and join us for free food , kids activities, power tool demo, prizes and bargains. The Kidz Need Dadz team will be about to connect with and we will on the bbq!

Tauranga Kidz Need Dadz

Tauranga are having a free fathers day event at the Queen Elizabeth Youth Centre Tauranga, Cnr of Devonport Road and Fraser street  9.30am  till 12pm 

Rose Proffitt Photographer will be there taking family photos for free, and individual photos of children that can be purchased. 

Kiwi Bank staff will be running and event

Greerton lions club will be running and event

Mcdonalds are giving away vouchers to  for free burgers, chips. drinks  and ice creams
